  1. I had a 2006 Dodge with a 5.7 hemi that I put over 200,000 miles on. I traded it off about 4 years ago for an H3 Hummer that I sold last year with over 207,000 miles.
I now have a 5.7 hemi 1500 Ram that is getting 16+ mpg around town, 11 was the best around town on the 06. 20+ was what I was getting back from the dealer in TN I live in NC about 100+ miles away

    • Lets see an electric truck beat that they are great for running down town in a city. Even if you had a charger at home you are looking at 4 to 8 hours recharge time if you have a 240 Volt charger if you are going to use a 120V.charger you better not plan on using that truck anytime soon you are looking at 12 to 24 hours to fill that truck up. (recharge) and hope it’s nice weather don’t want to run the heater that will cut into your driving range!

  2. While those new Electric trucks maybe nice in an Urban area where you are luck to get over 50 MPH but when you get out on the road you need some with some go to it. Look at the Ford F-150 Electric I think it’s called the lighting. Where I live in Colorado I can go to Denver and back and not have to recharge it but what they do not tell you that is unloaded and not pulling a trailer. Loaded I could make it to Denver (90 to 93 miles depending on the route) I can make to Denver and about half way back before I need to recharge it. With a V8 even at 10 MPG I still would not need to refuel the truck unless it had an small tank!
