I spent New Years day 1958 in Thule Greenland. We were stopped for a DC-3 fuel refill on the way back to Fort Dix, NJ. A bunch of troops who were finishing their terms of duty in Germany were flying home to muster out. We had Christmas lunch in the terminal. We were treated well.
