    • Electric car mandates are the very zenith of Democrat lunacy and gullibility ! And that ugly AOC witch is dope number one! She could really use a nose job !!

  1. Just how much more demand would be placed on the grid if the electric chair was brought back? Just a thought.

  2. Electric cars are the most wasteful items and dumbest idea anyone has ever had. The batteries are not safe, the items in those batteries will not be able to be disposed of safely, and what it takes to get the materials for the batteries is far worse for this planet than even coal mining ever will be. I personally think that anyone with big ideas of making people drive a dangerous vehicle that drains our power grid needed for homes and industry should see a good shrink, better yet go to a funny farm and skip the shrink as they just need to be in a padded cell!!!

  3. Maybe I’m old fashion, I was always taught that a person works to appreciate and get/buy what they want. A hand out is never fulling appreciated and the person learns that you have to take care of what you have. The EV, as far as I can see, is obtained threw loans, gift, credit and tax breaks. IT IS EXPENSIVE and out of reach for the common family house hold. Once you have it I would like to keep it forever but I can’t fix and there is no garage able to touch it. I guess the millions of car collectors are doomed and we have further been conditioned to accept less freedom of choice.

  4. EVs will happen and will be very practical but the switch will be because the technology has advanced to allow it to happen as a natural sequence. at this point of the tech EVs are dangerous to the people and to the environment both in the acquisition of the raw materials and in the disposal of the hazardous waste.

    • Exactly! Our infrastructure is totally incapable of dealing with them. It would also put a strain on the medical facilities with all the injuries from exploding batteries.

  5. Government mandates forcing EV on citizens is not justified denial of the freedom of choice. taxpayer cost for subsidy and increased expenses of owners are economically wasteful. Ideologically radical climate change believers have no cares about the negative impact of their advocacy. All government pressure should cease and if market forces result in acceptance we will see gas autos will be relaced with out subsidy or madates. That is way the american ecomy is designed to work.

  6. I won’t ever buy a EV car. They are dangerous. I don’t have the money or time to take extra days driving to see my son and family who lives 10 hours away from me but it would take me 3 days to drive there in an electric car but 11 hours in a gas car. Why would I do that? Gas car prices are 30 to 40 thousand dollars cheaper. I don’t understand paying more for a car that isn’t practical. I would have to pay for a charging station, another 5-10 thousand dollars. Plus if we have below zero weather conditions like last year I would end up having to pay 50,000 dollars to replace my batteries and not have anyplace to dispose of the old batteries. Who needs it. I’ll keep my gas powered car that works when I need it and I can afford it and I can gas up and keep on the road in 10-15 minutes. And I don’t have to replace my tires every 20,000 miles either or before

  7. Also it does absolutely nothing to help or change the climate outcome. It is actually worse on the planet than gas cars. So Cortez can just shove her green energy deal up her A!!

    • Everything has been said, but we are not ready or equipped for electric vehicles. No way to dispose of batteries is a big concern! Catching fire with no water even bigger issue, cost to replace a none reusable battery, more damage to highways . If your not rich your on foot..

  8. Another stupid DEMOCRAP who knows absolutely nothing that she is trying to tell us about. GO BACK TO BARTENDING and dancing. Work for tips. Maybe you’ll get a clue about what real life looks like. Because you don’t know what you’re doing now. You’re in over your stupid head.

  9. EVS is the biggest scam democrats ever shoved up inflation and made democrats rich because the own or have stocks in the company’s. They also are not environmental friendly there more hazardous than gas vehicles.
The amount of raw product needed to make one battery uses more equipment gas or diesel powered than the average car emissions makes in one year. Plus you can’t recycle them their useless in 5 to 7 years. To replace batteries in EVS batteries along cost over twenty thousand dollars and that’s without labor. To replace a gas engine cost five thousand dollars or less with labor. Also when EVS get into accidents no one wants to fix them and resale value on a EV is nothing because of the expensive of new batteries these cars are glorified golf carts and they can catch on fire and burn your house down and they are impossible to put out EVS on fire. This was the biggest Democrat scam ever to be mandated in America tell Washington DC to shove them up their corrupt asses. Plus we don’t have the electricity to charge them. Democrats assholes wet dreams. GFYS

  10. Another thing that they didn’t figure on was that if neighborhoods had several chargers going at the same time you could have a mini blackout. Plus you can’t charge your car inside the garage because the batteries have been known to start fire and the garage and your house would go up in a hot burning flame that couldn’t be put out. So you better hope that you and your family can get out and it doesn’t catch your neighbors homes on fire.

  11. Actually the tires aren’t the only reason. Mining for the rare items needed to produce the electric vehicle batteries (which are dangerous in themselves) adds as much pollution as our gas engines do. So with both of those drawbacks and the price of electric vehicles and the
heavier vehicles damage to our roads, I actually believe they should be banned.
