Unfortunately, we have a generation of people who have no concept of delayed gratification. No ability to curb impulsive spending. When things are tight, you buy only necessities. For the babies, use cloth diapers. Wash and reuse them. Stretch a rope or wire and hang them in the sun! Make your own baby food. Just add spices after removing the babies portion. Breast feed, it is always available and free! Wear an extra jacket, don’t turn up the thermostat. And do many more!
Sadly the credit card companies are getting just what they wanted. Say you owe $5,000.00.You can pay that balance of each month and youe’r in control.
But wait….My credit card company tells me you can pay the mininum balance,,,,,,,,
Say $25.00. Do the math!! Next month you owe $6,000.00 at 20%…Now you owe $6,000.00 but only need to pay $35.00. I’ve always felt if you borrow money it was your obligation to repay it. I might change that belief with this preditory lending.
