I have served on state level legislative committees and was dismayed to commonly hear the comment from legislators of both sides of the isle (more common on the left), “We have to decide how to vote. Our constituency is not informed nor intelligent enough to make these decisions!” Legislators commonly believe their constituency to be stupid! Many of these same “people” are now “serving” (themselves) at the federal level. These jackals need a can tied to their backsides and be booted to the curb, or possibly behind bars. You would not believe what these people do and commit too in elegant, dimly lit restaurants under and behind flowing table cloths and draperies in the process of their vote determining!
