This is a topic which enrages me everything I hear about it!!! I lost 99.9% of EVERYTHING (including my home & 2 of my 4 “fur-kids” + plus, Icame within minute of being burned to death TWICE), on the morning of 02/20/22, as the result of a Chi-Com “grow operation” intentionally setting fire to a huge trash pile – during “EXTREME FIRE DANGER” weather conditions. Due to the quick response of 5 fire departments, my property was the only one lost (although 3 other homes were spared by mere feet. Being a disabled senior on low fixed income, I’d had no room in my meager budget for insurance. I did understand, back then, that FEMA assistance was ONLY for “declared disasters;” although I have to admit that I was rather irritated that folks affected by the 2 subsequent tornadoes (who had FAR LESS damage) got a lot of help while I got NONE. (I didn’t begrudge them ANY of the help they got! I just felt like I was getting told YOU DON”T MATTER! Just go find a rock to crawl under & die…) NOW, they’re throwing money at folks who CHOSE to come here ILLEGALLY; &, citizens who’ve lost EVERYTHING are, essentially, getting “left in the dust” the way I was. I’m in a rage – not out of jealousy; but, out of true empathy.

I agree with you. Term limits in Congress needs to implemented. The only thing – the members of Congress won’t vote for it! There needs to be a question on the ballots to set term limits or not.
