It’s unfortunate that I have to admit that even though I’m a registered Republican, I voted for Obama his first term, hoping he could help turn the country around to be a healthier, more bipartisan society. I did birth certificates in a hospital and they had to be perfect. No white outs or type overs. If you made a mistake you had to start over with a new birth certificate. And if your parents were born in another country I had to put that on the birth certificate. That was in 1975. I doubt it has changed. It was the same when my kids were born in the 80’s.
