Please start working on the Department of Education. Most school boards across this nation are top heavy with current or past educators. They vote monolithically in the elections and vote simpatico on the school board issues. They give exceptionally favorable decisions toward the teachers, often at the students’ expense. There should be NO school boards with more than 20-25% educators, vendors to the schools, or former educators. They rig the system and scream foul when they are called out. Cities and counties can work on the solutions to this. It MUST be done or we are swimming upstream forever with public schools.
