True. His mother married that Indonesian man who adopted Barack, and he thus became a Malaysian citizen. As far as we all know, he never became an American citizen after that. It’s been rumored that he went to college in the U.S. on a foreign scholarship, but I haven’t been able to confirm that. I’ll have to do more research into that.
One thing to remember, Obama’s biological father was a citizen of the British East Africa Protectorate (which made him a citizen of the British Empire), at 18 Obama was able to choose his citizenship, British or American. Barack traveled to Cuba when they did not allow any citizens with American passports. I believe he claimed his British citizenship when he turned 18. Which allowed him to travel to Cuba. Another point, who paid for all of his travel those years.
His US Social Security number came from Connecticut, a place he NEVER lived!! His grandmother lived in Hawaii, she worked in a department where they took care of the paperwork for people that died in Hawaii that did not live there, but were vacationing there. There was a man that immigrated to the US after WW II, he had no family in Europe, never married here, lived in Connecticut for the rest of his life, until he died in Hawaii while on vacation there.
