Missg ships movement is serious business. Passemgers should be prepared for any situation. Making sure you have a point of contact in your phone to the ship number 1. #2 take your passport with you especially if the next port is not in the US. Use your voice with the bus driver (asking him to communicate with the ship about your situation listening to his conversation). Your expenses should be covered by the ship company as it was. Remember they don’t like bad press.
Doesn’t sound like the cruise company is really sorry. 20 percent off next trip……. not sure if I would ever go again…….. certainly would never leave the ship ,if I did go.
I agree. They should’ve gotten another cruise for FREE. What a horrible company. I was thinking of buying a cruise. No thanks.
That cruise line would pay for this you need a good lawyer never travel that crude line again.
I think if I was a Gault, I’d avoid Norwegian Cruise Lines in the future and make sure my family, friends and acquaintances did too.
If that tour was booked on the cruise the family should have all expenses paid back. Why didn’t the ship wait for them coming back from the tour? our family has gone on 6 cruises with Norwegian and we won’t book with any other cruise line. Very unfortunate for the family.
This is just one of the reasons I will never go on s cruise.
