I am a great-grandmother and seeing Barron come a long side his Father with a friend of his, helping to reach the younger and first time voters to get them to see what his Father has to offer “we the people” to better all of our lives, the younger generation and up. I pray he continues supporting his Dad.
Here is a son of a former president that is a great example of how educated and learned he is. Plus he has educated friends that enhances his life and they all are working toward the greater good. Tax on tips began in 1966 when I got my first job as a table server. Thought it never should have happened, but it did and you had to personally declare at the end of the shift how much you received each shift in tips so you could be taxed on that amount as well as your hourly wage, for which I received a piddly $0.75/hour. Though I cannot remember who was President, nor who was in Congress I have always thought it was a form of taxation without representation.
1966 would have been Lydon Banes Johnson a Democrat and I am sure Democrats controlled Congress at that time. Another reason to never vote for any Democrat
It was. I was amazed by the lack of awareness of people. We turned Johnson out in 68 but by the next election many people seemed to thing the tax on tips was a Republican doing. Never underestimate the ignorance of Democrat voters.
